Building For Their Future
Improving the education of children is the foundation to their future. Not only do we need to upgrade their learning experience but we also need to provide them with a safe positive environment to learn in. Helps us do just that for these students.
New Friends
While in Uganda conducting educational conferences during the summer of 2025, our team had the joy of serving alongside a remarkable young couple, Eria and Jovia Kalule. They worked tirelessly with us, making airport runs, running copies handouts and serving by our side as we shared the gospel. We were deeply moved by their love for the Lord and humility in serving Him.
Leading a School
Eria and Jovia not only started and pastored a church but they also started and lead a school, Mtoto Junior School. They have since transitioned to leading the school full-time. Our hearts were stirred with compassion at the humble and fragile conditions that the students were learning in. But thanks to many generous supporters, we were able to help them build a new school facility on their own parcel of land where they began meeting in starting February 2026. They currently have more than 150 students and 13 staff.
The Current Challenge
Though the school is currently operating there is still a need to continue to help support their development. They still have dirt floors, makeshift desks, no kitchen and no play ground equipment in addition to other on going needs such as staff salaries and food for the students.
