Build A School In Uganda

Improving the education of children is the foundation to their future.  Not only do we need to upgrade their learning experience but we also need to provide them with a safe positive environment to learn in.  Helps us do just that for these students.

Building for their future

New Friends

While in Uganda this past summer, our team had the joy of serving alongside a remarkable young couple, Eria and Jovia Kalule. They worked tirelessly with us, making airport runs, running copies for our educators conference, and serving by our side as we shared the gospel. We were deeply moved by their love for the Lord and humility in serving Him.

Leading a School

Eria and Jovia not only started and pastor a church but they also started and lead a school, Mtoto Junior School.  Our hearts were stirred with compassion at the humble and fragile conditions that the students are learning in. The school is currently meeting in a small run down rented building with limited resources and dirt floors.

Building for the Future

The good news is that they have a purchased a piece of land for a new school.  Having already begun to lay block walls, they are trusting God for his provision to finished the project.  That’s where we come in.  We feel the Lord is calling us to join together with the Pastor and his wife to help provide the resources to finish the school, providing the materials to add flooring, roof, furnishings, doors, windows, toilets, and curriculum.
